Italy 2006
In 2006 we had a fantastic vacation in Italy. We started in Rome and stayed at a hotel called Domus Praetoria for two nights. We saw all the famous places like the Spanish Steps, Fontana di Trevi and St Peters Basilica. Then we picked up a rental car and headed for Tuscany. We stayed in Pienza, one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Tuscany. We rented bikes by a company called Cicloposse. We got maps and suggested routes to cycle from them. You see so much more when you go by the not so traveled roads by bike, but you need to be in good shape before you go. The landscape of Tuscany is not flat.... The last days of our vacation we spent in Viaraggio, just relaxing at the beach before we got back to Norway.
