Learning digital scrapbooking can be intimidating for many, but have no fear 
, there are lots of tutorials available. You can do a search at a site like youtube, and you will find tons of digital scrapbooking tutorials.
The way I learned the basics was buying a course from Scrappers Guide, the best training available in my opinion. Linda Sattgast has been teaching digital scrapbooking since 2003. She offers online classes for Photoshop Elements 9 and also for Photoshop CS4 and CS5.
For only $57 USD you get more than 60 video tutorials you can watch at your own pace. A nice digital scrapbook kit is also included so you can start immediately. I highly recommend this training!
Scrappers Guide also have a membership option where you can sign up to get a new kit and videos with new digital scrapbooking tutorials every month.
