Welcome to Kristin’s ScrapDesign – Digital Scrapbooking
Welcome to my little corner of the internet. Who I am? My name is Kristin Skjæringrud and I live in Norway. I discovered digital scrapbooking in March 2007 and have been totally addicted since then. I did struggle a bit in the beginning, but then I discovered that you can use templates, and I was suddenly able to make beautiful layouts in no time.
In April 2008 I started designing my own digital scrapbook templates and shared them as blog freebies. I was really amazed that so many people liked them. So one thing led to another and I decided to open my own store. I called it ScrapWithTemplates.com and had the official opening August 1st 2008. In October 2008 I applied to a designer call at Pickleberrypop and I was lucky to be among the accepted designers. After a couple of months I created my first kits for digital scrapbooking as well. Then I decided to move the store over to www.kristinsscrapdesign.com. The two stores I sell my designs from are now Kristin’s ScrapDesign and Pickleberrypop.

I am married to my soulmate Finn, and I have two stepsons that are almost grown ups by now. Erik is 15 and Rune is 20 yrs old. Finn and I share one big passion. We both love to travel. France is the favorite country. I’ll share some of our scrapbook travel albums with you here on this site, but you can also visit the website from our latest trip to the Loire Valley in France.
I hope this website will inspire you to scrap more if you already are a digital scrapbooker. If not, now is a good time to start! Digital scrapbooking is a great way to document your life for the generations to come. The best part about going digital is that you don’t need more than your computer to get started.
You don’t need expensive tools and lots of supplies to get started. And when you buy a digital scrapbook kit, you can use it over and over. It is not like using paper supplies, if you are creative and learn how to use your software, there are endless possibilities with only one kit. You can resize elements to fit the design you want or you can re-color both the papers and elements to match your photos perfectly.
